Superior & Sage Hotel

Excellent place with amenities like free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a cozy indoor pool. The staff even helped me find my phone charger on my first stay. I highly recommend it for a comfortable experience!

Favourable and decent location, within walking distance of everywhere. Large bed, good bathroom and central heating, multi-channel TV and a fridge in the room.

the staff were accommodating, we had an easy check in and a late check-out. tidy units in whirlpool, enjoyed it.

The hotel was a vacation base for enjoying a great area, near restaurants and Duluth and downtown. The staff were accommodating the whole time. The location was decent - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The restaurant was relatively close to the property.

Great for families on a budget

But man, those windows were super drafty and let in all the highway noise. No pool towels available, a bummer. The picnic area was great for a snack after swimming, tho!

We truly enjoyed the food, it was good.

An iron, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels available in the double room. Neat building, perfect and wonderful location close to Duluth, Minnesota, other areas and Taverns & convenient store...

The hotel is pet friendly. The showers here are surprisingly nice, and the nearby Hammond Steak House across the parking lot is a solid spot for a meal, even if it's closed on Tuesday nights.

The accommodations feel quite old, with worn-out furniture and bedding that could use some upgrades. If you're sensitive to noise, the thin walls mean you might hear everything happening in neighboring rooms. The smoke drifting from outside through the entrance isn't pleasant, especially since there doesn't seem to be a designated smoking area away from the entrance.

The staff was super friendly, and. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great selection including freshly baked items. The decor could use some updating to feel more modern.

Budget Option for Family Travel

The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly! The breakfast was light-cereal and muffins, just what we needed before heading out.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but still acceptable for what you get.

We had a blast exploring Gooseberry Falls and the DECC Symphony Hall. The staff was super friendly, and the location is great for getting around. The shower worked well, and the hotel was quiet despite being full. Perfect spot for a weekend with friends!

The hot tub was cooler than expected and occasionally cold, which affected our relaxation time. It was a bit of a bummer after a long day.

Despite the smoky odor in the room and dirty flooring, I loved the cozy, clean bed and the exceptional pool. The hot tub was a relaxing bonus!

Our stay was decent overall, but we encountered some issues. The pool area was inviting, but needed a good cleaning as there was a lot of gunk at the bottom. The breakfast options were limited, but it's nice to have something to start the day. The real downside was how thin the walls were. We could hear the loud snoring from the room next to us throughout the night. Despite these concerns, the staff at check-in was very welcoming and friendly, which made a positive difference in our experience.
